In-Home Training Sessions
$100 an hour
People often ask me; "what happens during an in-home private training session?" If the unwanted behavior is happening in the home then sometimes the best way to address it is in the home. I start by simply observing the dog in their environment, and watching their body language. I may have you demonstrate the unwanted behavior and I will take down a thorough history from the owner. Once I observe the dog I will give suggestions and demonstrations on ways to intervene and remedy the unwanted behavior. This may take one session, it may take four sessions; it all depends on the Dog and the owner's needs. I customize how many and how long these sessions need to be based on the dog's unwanted behaviors and what the owner is looking to work on. I have a 20-mile radius limit surrounding Corbin KY that I will travel for in-home training sessions. I simply do not want to leave the other dogs in my care at my facility for very long. Below I have a second option listed for one, one-on-one private sessions.

1-on-1 Training Sessions at S.O.O residence
$60 per/hr
It's hard to lug all of my dog training equipment from one house to another, sometimes it's easier to have my clients come to my residence where I have all of my correction tools on hand and ready. All my clients receive a warm welcome and will be greeted by my personal dog Duke (who I also use in demonstrations/during the training session if needed.) I usually start out in my large fenced-in play yard. Your dog will be able to grasp the manners and obedience training concepts without the distractions they may otherwise experience at home. I have noticed that owners/handlers are able to grasp concepts better when taken out of the everyday distractions at their homes.

Board and Train
Minimum 7 days for $700
(you may add on days for $100 a day)
I have found that it takes a minimum of 7 days for the training to sink effectively. Our board and train services are for dogs who have more severe unwanted behaviors or dogs/puppies who are in need of learning all the basics; i.e potty training, crate training, leash training, manners training, and socialization will all be incorporated into the Sounds of Obedience Board and Train curriculum. I run the S.O.O Board and Train program out of my home. I have found that training dogs in a home environment helps the training stick when transitioning back home. I call my Board and Train program "doggy boot camp." I tailor-make each Board and Train program to each individual dog. I require each dog to stay a minimum of 7 days, the owners may add on days as they feel necessary. I will ask each owner to set aside a one-hour window when picking up their dog from Board and Train. This is the free one-hour training session to go over the training I have done with the dog so that they may keep up the training at home. This service is $100 a day with a seven-day minimum per dog that goes there the training program.
